On the 6th of July 2009 representatives from each of the groups involved in the new Earth Systems Science Building (ESSB) project toured facilities at SFU along with representatives of the project architects, Busby Perkins and Will. Two facilities were included in the tour...
The Interdisciplinary Research in the Mathematical and Computational Sciences (IRMACS) Center. This facility provides a versatile, computationally sophisticated for scientists from a broad range of disciplines to come together and benefit from state-of-the-art computational visualization and communication facilities. The Faculty of Health Sciences building, Blusson Hall. This is one of Busby, Perkins and Will's recently completed projects which shares a significant overlap with some of the design needs of the new ESSB building. Further information on the project is available here
